Tire Blowout Questions

I for one am more skeptical of the usually unsubstantiated knee-jerk reactions (complete with code words) of an evidently small but very vocal "anti-Maxxis" crowd.

I don't put myself into that group, but "unsubstantiated knee-jerk reactions" is all you get from these tire threads. That would be a great title for a forum created specially for the topic of tires. The people who really know their stuff about tires no longer post as their informed opnions get glossed over rather quickly. From my point of view on the fence I'm sitting on, the Maxxis crowd on here is just as bad. Too bad you can't come here for level headed, fact based advice on the subject.
