^First, you talked trucks in general no OPs truck specifically.
Even still, sure it would be overloaded. Prolly was carrying 4000lbs all on its lonesome over there!!

Second, I qualified my statement to some of the reasons it may need changed, so yer generalizing again for the benefit of argument, lol.
Last, woukd you really do what you just said?
Dually, decent tires, lets say half tread or better, got 2 tons in the bed. Pop a tire, pull over 1-10 miles later, however far. Telling me you're going to put the spare on and drive straight to the next tire store and buy 2 tires?
1 to replace the one that committed suicide and another to replace the one that got its feeling hurt?
Like I said, must be a tire salesman.
Having it checked out is cool though. Not as drastic as buying a new one just because.
