Tire covers

Just wondering if you like the the single type tire cover or the double size covers better. Is there a brand that is better than the rest? Are they pretty true to size ? I need a set that will cover 225-75R -15's and want to make sure they will cover the whole tire and rim . Thank you for your replies

  • I've had a double set of Adco's for 7 years, use them all year. Just starting to crack so will need to replace before winter. Think I got them bogo at CW.
  • I prefer the double tire cover as it covers my RotoChocks too. This hides them from thieves and keeps the sun off them as well. I had the white covers but the soon looked ugly from dirt and grass stains. When they wore out (cracked and brittle from the sun) my second set is a black set and they are great so far. I haven't had the black set long enough to comment on the sun exposure yet.

One extra note......if you go with a double tire cover, the slide out may have an adjustment bolt that sticks down low enough that it can hang on the tire cover in the middle. I had that problem. I solved it with a bungie cord around the tire cover middle on the slide side.

    Harbor Freight Tire Covers

It's a good deal but, it's only for up to 24" diameter tires.

Although that's the specs given, my tires are 24.5" diameter, the covers will fit a larger size with ease.

I'm om my third season using these from HF.

Also, if you want to protect a little more, use this stuff.
