  • I'll throw my 2 cents in. If the tires you are looking at are made in China, move on. I will suggest Maxxis tires which can be ordered online. They are more expensive than the ones you're looking at now, but as someone said, what's safety worth? Type in "China Bombs" in the search box and you'll find 5 pages of not good stuff about them.
What ever you decide to go with, make sure they're balanced and install steel valve stems.
  • okie dokie, thinking im just going to go with the 2255 75 15s and spend the extra 100 bucks. not sure I understand the reasoning (considering the smaller tires are still well above capacity and according to every physics lesson ive had should be less prone to sway and have less rolling resistance) but I am by no means experienced in this so I appreciate the opinions.
  • $20 is not worth or life or your family's, go with 225/75r15s or better yet 235/75R15 LR D, you will be better off.
  • living in retail hell (Canada) affordable choices are few and far between. I need something close to 225 75 15. I can get away with load range c but id prefer d. can get these for 90 a tire in 205 75 15 or 110 for 225 75 15
  • From what I understand, those are the same as the Westlake super St tires. Some here have had bad things o say about them in the past (as you'll here about every brand), but I am considering them as well. They are one of the few tires that come in the size and load range I want that are also a radial. (185/80R13 load range D)
