The dealer cannot be correct in telling you to run 71 psi in the rear if the door sticker only indicates 65 psi which is the maximum pressure needed to carry the rated axle weight, which is normally determined by the tire load rating.
In theory you should see no change in tire pressure after adding a load on it because the tire has the capability to change its shape. It makes no difference if you check and adjust your tire pressures before or after loading your TC.
