this weekend I delivered my 5th wheel to its summer parking spot.
200 miles round trip.
I always run my 2015 Ram 3500 4wd Dually at 80 psi front.
going up I ran 65psi each in rear tires because I don't know the weight of the 5er pin.
But coming home I ran 40 psi in the rear empty (just Reese classic 20K hitch in bed) doing 70mph accept in construction zones (70 is speed limit).
at 40psi rear, as the tires heated up from driving the PSI rise was the same on rear tires as it was on front tires. 50deg F streets and both front and rear went up 3psi.
Above is telling me both the front and rear have about the same "tire load" caused Load X heat = PSI increase. Maybe I am wrong, but I am going with this number :)
