Mine doesn't appear to be weatherproof. I will be installing it this week. Our TT has a front storage compartment, with 12V lighting inside. Since the trailer is a fiberglass, the RF will transmit easily through the skin. A simple 12V type switch from Radio Shack (if you can find them still in your area), or any automotive type shop. All else fails, even Walmart sells them in their automotive/electrical section.
If yours is waterproof, and still want a waterproof switch, any marine supply store will have them. If you don't have those in your area, check out West Marine online.
