Thanks everyone for the input.
With regard to the TPMS, my service guy is looking into it. He felt that it would be looking for a minimum pressure and if you exceed that pressure you should be okay. He's going to see if the computer inputs for the TPMS can be adjusted or how they would respond. He also said some 18" spares in the ford line can have a 17" wheel with a taller tire under the bed.
