The westlake tires on my RV are 4 years old in November. We are headed to Atlanta in 3 weeks for a 9 day trip. I have checked the tires and there are zero cracks or bulges and they tires are wearing evenly, they currently have around 6k miles on them. My goal was to wait until next spring to swap the tires since we won't be making anymore trips this year do to a baby. I've read a lot of review on other tires. It haven't seen much in the way of westlakes.
If I do swap I will be going with the new Goodyear Endurance e rated tires.
Every tire I have blown was aired properly, taken care of correctly, and in it's 4th year. not ran too fast or anything stupid. Not 4 years old, but in the 4th year. I have had 3 blown TT tire, 1 was a Goodyear, the others tow masters.
I will NEVER leave the yard with tires in their 4th year again. For me it is 3 and off. If you have never sat on the side of a interstate changing a tire. You should trust me. You don't want to.
IMOP you are taking a huge chance. For me there is no question. I would jerk those tire off in a New York minute. 4 year old tires are just looking for a place to come apart. Don't care who made them.
