4 years is my goal. I tow in sometimes very hot weather, 110 and higher at times on currently 3 year old and change goodyear marathons. They sit in the hit Ca. sun. They will get changed out at 4 years give or take. At 4 years, you should have plenty of cushion on your safety net. Best of luck whichever way you go.
