I replaced the factory supplied LT245/75R17 31.5" diameter tires rated at 3195 with Nitto Terra Grappler tires LT245/75R17 32.76" diameter and rated at 3750@80 PSI.
Handling with a 3700 lb. camper load was better and added more margin in terms of load capacity at the rear by 1100 lbs. and these tires work on 7.5" or wider rims so OK with the stock forged aluminum rims on my 2500 truck.
The larger tires with the camper in the bed have exactly the same diameter as the stock tires without anything in the bed. With the camper loaded the odometer and speedometer are accurate. With the camper off the truck the speedometer is off by about 2 MPH and shows 65 MPH when truck is actually doing closer to 67 MPH.
Cost for 4 tires mounted and lifetime balancing was a little over $800.
