As for tires-Carlisle has a new Radial out, The Carlisle Radial Trail RH. It has been out two years and there are at least three of us on this board who have had them on across the U.S.A. on multi - thousand mile trips.

Please note that a few on this board think Maxxis makes the best trailer tire ever made-The Consumer Reports magazine has reported their passenger tires finished towards the bottom in their tests.
