Regarding Maxxis in the lowest 25% of passenger car tire testing:
November 2012 issue and November 2013 issue Consumer Reports .
This forum is the only place in the world wide web that Maxxis is held in high regard .
Maxxis has only a fraction of the ST Tires ever sold .
Goodyear and Carlisle are shipped as OEM on trailers for decades and have the widest distribution network for ST tires .
There are many ( 19 ? ) threads about Maxxis ST tire failures .
The single best action when replacing tires is to increase your load weight ratings as posted on the sidewall of all ST tires .
If your weight rating on your current tires is 1820 # there are several options to get a 2271 # weight rating in 14 inch and 15 inch tires .
Your tire budget is better served by upgrading the Tires first and the wheels second .
TTs are parked 90 % of the time .
Who cares if the wheels are flashy for 328 days a year under your carport ?
I have fancy wheels on my pickup and 2 german hotrods .
But I use the steel wheels for my boat and TT .
I have upgraded my tires on both towed vehicles however .
If the Tredit tires are an upgrade in weight rating then that might be a good deal .
If the same weight rating as your current tires then I would reconsider and spend the money for bigger ratings for that time I am driving across the desert in 115 degree heat .
