I have run 3 different brands of tires with TC’s...they all made it to ~ 40k miles. No more/ no less.
The only difference was in failure mode.
I do rotate every 10k miles.

I like my Nitto Terra grapplers, 65psi so it is faster to air up and they are rated for 3600lbs. I am running 305's on 17 rims.

Some of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers go up to 4000lbs at 80psi.

As for MPG my truck sucks gas anyway, not seen where a tire helps much.

Interesting, We've been driving on BFG TA for more than thirty years and usually get pretty good mileage on each set.

Have a set of BFG 285 KO TA on my 2500HD now, 24K plus miles and not even half gone yet. Guess we're just "lucky" with our BFG ...

We usually get 40K plus on a set, which is not HIGH mileage, of course, like cars and SUV get, but enough for a TC hauling truck.

The Goodyear Duratrac wont last any longer than a BFG. We have a set that is 1/3 gone with 8000 miles on the vehicle.

Duratracs last a little longer than BFG ATs in my experience.
Unlikely candidate is the Firestone MTs. Bought a set for winter tires, siped them and ended up leavin them on this summer. Couple thousand loaded camper miles with no additional wear compared to the fronts, tells me they will last pretty well under a camper. And they're cheaper than BFGs or Duratracs.

SRW or duallie? 17's or 18's.
