Loading heavy your never going to get great mileage out of tires.

I have Sailun S637 "G" rated 16" tires on my 15,000 lb. triple axle toyhauler. They have over 20,000 miles and still look great.

Need tires on truck not fiver.

Firestone Transforce Tire’s on my old dually served me well...Boring to look at but they performed well.

What truck ? What size tire ?

Michelin and Goodyear have dozens of lines of LT/P tires for trucks/SUVs/etc. It makes a difference in tread type/compound your using so across the board they all don't wear the same.
What line of those brands are you using.

And of course driving style is the biggest hit. My last OEM Michelin LT265/70-17 E LTX on my current 2500 Dodge/Cummins NV5600 tranny 3.73 gears ran for 115k miles before the tread bars showed, pulling various trailers up to 16k lbs.

City driving is hard on front axle tires vs rural driving where I live.

Using tire pressure for the load when empty is another player.

And of course like wizard says size also can make a difference.

I don't understand when I hear about Michelins, or any other good truck tire, only lasting 30,000 miles. I've never gotten less than 60,000 miles from Michelins on any of my vehicles.

I think your tire choice depends on whether your staying on pavement or if you spend anytime off highway at all. Also if Winter driving is something you find yourself involved in.

I have had 3 sets of michelins on my tow vehicles over my lifetime. None made it over 30,000 miles. They never wore much but everyone got weather checks in them so bad I replaced them. The tires I run now have about 60% tread left at 24,000 miles. The michelins were load range E a highway tread. The ones I have on now are cooper load range E kind of a radical all season tire. I will say I'm kind of hard on tires. To much speed & weight I guess. If I can get 40,000 out this set I'll be well satisfied.
