To be on the helpful side, we wouldn't camp in a 'camp ground' with a bunch of RV's and swelter in the smoke filled air because we can't run AC to keep Mama happy. I'd be 2 miles down the road on a side road parked all together.
I follow your sentiments, but this wasn't my trip I planned. I was invited and it's the only trip we will have this year with family so got to make it work within what they planned.
