I live in Pa and wouldn't take the chance of not winterizing by now. You could go down to freezing at any time. Not all years, but why take the chance.
What would it be corrosive to? The tank is plastic, the pipes are plastic, the valve are plastic.
---RV anti freeze gets diluted very easily. If he has 40 gallon tank and 3/4 full how many gallons would you put in?
---Other antifreeze kills the bacteria working in septic tanks or dump stations in many cases. That's why so many places are charging nowdays. To get back what they has spend after people dump toxic stuff into their system. Other Anti freeze (Not RV type)is almost like cleaning up after a toxic spill. I'm not a EPA nut but "other" anti freeze has some really bad stuff in it.
