The couch in our Eagle is a regular couch, with a complete fold out bed inside (not the jackknife sofa we had in our previous models), and TBH it's one of the most comfortable couches I've ever sat on.
When we are in our TT it's very comfortable to sit on, whether one person or two, or even threee (a bit snug then).
I'd have either two recliners sitting there or the sofa, I prefer the sofa to use for sleep quarters just in case. We do have older children who come and stay with us during our trips and also the children to still come bring friends along too.
