We haven't hauled the camper on the 2015 yet, but it's ready to go. We added Torklifts to it and we used a 30 amp upfitter switch to run dedicated 6ga wires to run the refer seperate from the camper charge wire and battery when on the road.
Stable loads will probably go on after we try it without them and we will mount a camera on the camper to plug in and use with the back up view when the tailgate is off.
so far we hauled a lot of different loads and the #s are pretty equal. 10mpg to 14mpg but the 6.7 isn't even almost broken in yet.
on the highway empty the 2000 gets about 17 the 2015 is only getting 15 .
We have hauled several loads with the gooseneck loaded with hay, gross trailer weight was 20,000lbs . The way it casually powered up the hills and then coming down with the tow haul and exhaust brake was just wonderful. This was on hilly twisty roads and it got 12 mpg. We made 6 of those loads. The regeneration cycle seemed to kick in alot which hurt the mileage.
Hauling cattle that move around alot they are about equal with maybe the nod going to the 2015, probably the longer wheelbase helps.
Noise wise we don't think our 7.3 is noisy but compared to the 6.7 it is. It is really noticed when you ask for more power the 6.7 is a quite power house.
