To TC'ers who have bought new trucks
I'm thinking.... ONLY in the thinking stage right now, of a new 2016 F-450 or F-550. They're awfully proud of those things. There's nothing what so ever wrong with mine, it hauls what I have fine...

I had F450, F250 and now F350 dually.
I use them for towing equipment trailer, what is 15,000 lb and even F250 would tow on highest gear unless I come to steep grade.
So IMHO getting 450 truck for camper is overdoing and waste of fuel due to low gearing.
The 300+ HP trucks are amazing. I beat most of the cars with my camper driving into high Sierra and still get 10mpg from 6-liter.
