Is it 6000lb dry, or loaded?
That is roughly what I have since my camper scaled 4200 winterized and no propane.
I bought it with F250, although after seeing what load that thing put on my rear wheels it was a bit scary.
On my F450 I was putting 10,000 lb on the bed more than once.
Think about those 11,000 forklifts.
But it had 19.5 " wheels.
I'm looking double and triple slides with dry baths and side entries. 6K lbs should be when wet and loaded, but I will have 1k lbs in tongue weight on top of what ever I am carrying.
My 5500 has about 9k lbs payload according to the GVWR. The Dana S14-111L has enough capacity to carry it all on the rear.
