To TC'ers who have bought new trucks
I'm thinking.... ONLY in the thinking stage right now, of a new 2016 F-450 or F-550. They're awfully proud of those things. There's nothing what so ever wrong with mine, it hauls what I have fine...

Cabs.
It's my understanding, if I remember correctly from Dave Smith's, you can "Order" the fancy Larime or other cabs if you want on the 5500. I had the option to go with the SLT (whatever it's called) but needed to save $3k and only loss was the 110v in cab plug (and chrome which I didn't want), which I see I can buy and install. (440 alt).
As Bedlam mentioned, you can ADD some options, I did add the carpet, so I can buy mats to cover it heheh, go figure, and one or two other things.
