Is there very much complicated wiring in a fully equipped RV? (too much to research and learn? I want to build one, complete with very small refrigerator/freezer area supplemented with stacked coolers. Less energy, less ice, but enough of each. How would you fell about composting toilet or would it be too gross in such a small space? In you fantasy, how much water would you need for a good how shower? Why not use instant how water heaters? They are adaptable to natural gas, so would probably be adaptable to propane. When people use solar chargers, can solar heaters for the space and for water also be used or would they have to be too large? Are the solar cells only able to be mounted when stationary? Any good recommendations on solar cell producers/vendors, and if so, why?
My last big question is to do with big materials: For the base of the whole thing, do you use one of those metal mesh trailers like people carry tractors and lawn equipment and other things on, then build up from there? Or do you use a trailer with four bands of angle iron, then join them up with wood in between as slats or plywood or both?
Are there any legal or DOT standards you could point me to?
I have the same questions for the sides of the building and the top. I assume there are some minimum standards so someone doesn't come rolling through a wall out onto the highway.
Any additional input, such as more windows toward the back are better then front, double tires are better at the center, fiberglass isn't better than aluminum on wood, etc... are appreciated.
Thank you in advance for all your expertise and experience.I'm trying to get a handle on this without wasting a whole lot of time and money. I don't have much of either.
