Today I say goodbye..... ;-)

...........To my old camper! It sold!! 2 weeks on eBay (with lots of silly questions .... fit on a 1/2 ton? will you take payments?... what kind of mileage does it get?... etc., etc.,) and then it sold on Craigslist the day before the second auction ended! Phew!! Perfect timing, as I pick up my new to me Lance 1055 tomorrow and was getting ready to take the Weekender off the truck to store it. Instead, today I'm driving 82 miles to Yucca Valley and delivering it to a very excited family! I'll stop on the way home to weigh the empty truck also so I'll have a good starting point when I load the Lance.

Yahoooooo! :)

I'll posts pics after I pick up the Lance tomorrow... CAN'T WAIT!! :) :)

  • Congratulations on the sale and on the delivery of the new rig. May both bring years of delight to both families.
  • Congrats on the somewhat local sale!!

If it's feasible, fill up with fuel before the weigh-in.
  • Craigslist has always came through for me. I sold one also last weekend.
  • Good for you. Now get out and have some fun in your "new" rig, congratulations.

    Total interweb destruction.
  • Oh No! You sold too soon. This guy from Nigeria was going to send you a certified check that you could cash and keep twice the price. A truck was going to come by and pick up the remaining cash and camper to load in a container to ship to him. Could have saved that 82 miles you had to drive, etc. etc.

You sold too soon! I know, because I missed the same opportunity several years ago when I sold my first TC after buying a different one.
