Dish water down the toilet helps us keep the grey tank under max. The black tank always has enough capacity with "black" and dishwater going into it, at least for 3 days. After that it's dump time.

Yes you can, but we have found just plan dishwashing liquid works more than adequate. Actually, we pour our dish water down the toilet and that usually is good enough.
