Quite a while back in a thread about front air dams playing a role in fuel mileage I was basically told by some that I was full of it. All y'all can kiss my grits, see video below. So there!
I'd like to see a real test on a closed road course where one truck with the retractable air dam and one without are given the same amount of fuel and driven the same speed to measure the results. The material cost of the retractable air dam just negated some fuel savings cost right off the bat. Why not just eliminate the dam all together?
