The salesman told me...

Greetings RV.NET!

I am a newbie looking to purchase my first travel trailer. I've been doing my reading here and watching youtube to educate myself as much as possible. However, I'm stumped on something a salesman told me at a dealership yesterday.

The salesman told me to avoid aluminum framed travel trailers, and was pushing me to buy a wood framed. He said that metal conducts heat/cold, which I already knew. He then informed me that if I have a aluminum framed RV it will cause condensation inside the metal stud. He explained the condensation builds, drips down inside the stud to the wood floor below. He advised the wood floor will then rot overtime. Is this true?

This leads me to my second question... What are your thoughts on a Keystone Hideout by Hornet. The salesman was really pushing me towards this particular RV.

Anyways... Thank you in advance and I'm sure I'll have more questions in time!
