Tongue mounted Generator

I've purchased a new Propane/Gasoline powered Generator to replace our older one. It weights 93lbs. This time around I'd like to design a way to install it on the Tongue (somehow). We have an Arctic Fox 26x, the additional Tongue weight isn't a factor. Presently there is the typical (2) Batteries mounted between the A frame rails, then (2) vertical propane tanks in front of them. Then the Electric Jack. After this Frame work is manufactured I'd like it covered in Diamond Plate or (?). I also need to consider the Sound Deadening, Cooling and Exhaust issues. SO, Suggestions ...
  • Tried same with 3500 / 4000 Champion.
    Moved propane bottles slightly forward.
    Relocated batteries (2 x T105).
Welded up 1" angle iron drop frame behind bottles.
Installed compressor type vibration damping mounts.
    Built DIY 'Genturi' from downspout.

Didn't work. Either sound or direct vibration or both turned TT into a drum.
Batteries at the rear made TT 70 lb overweight on the axles.

Reversed all. Put batteries back on the tongue where they belong.
Put generator in truck where it belongs.

For sound proofing replaced 3500 with 2000 inverter generator.

    Happy now.:R
  • I am not sure there's enough space to install a generate and a cover for it in the space between the front wall of the trailer and the propane bottles.
