Your points are good except for one huge point. The guy is going to buy a trailer so he presently has no weighed weights to work with. He also will be going to go camping in terrain that could vary significantly from flat to mountainous. His loading profile and habits are also unknown,---
Based on his previous posts he has done a considerable amount of towing and camping in the mountains of VA and WV.
His previous posts also indicate a thorough knowledge of how to load a TT without exceeding weight ratings.
The OP asked a question about how much tongue weight the WD hitch can transfer back to the TT wheels.
Since it can easily be shown and quantified by scales data that load is transferred to the TT wheels, I think we should not insult the OP by telling him it cannot be.
I also think we should not be telling him he must assume that he will load the new TT to 100% of its GVWR. He knows his loading habits much better than we do.
He knows how to do the numbers. We should be providing facts -- rather than opinions which do not apply to his situation.
