Earlier this morning, I was half asleep and forgot about the weight that is transferred back to the TT axles.
So that weight is unaccounted for and will add to the TW... But I don't think it will be enough to get you totally in the clear. But with some careful loading (carry water) it should be OK.
And opinions vary a great deal about how much weight should be transferred to the front axle.
I like to see the front end slightly heavier than empty when hitched up with WD.
I want the steer axle firmly PLANTED on the pavement.
This relatively new opinion of not returning all of the weight back to the FA (IMO) was due to two factors.
First was some TVs (GM for one) started making their suspensions so they ride on the bumpstops.
This means that the old tried and true measuring the wheel wells sag method to determine how much weight is being transferred is useless.
And now many more people are wanting to tow with lite TVs that can't handle much FAW.
