Are you willing to upgrade the TV first?
Unfortunately from what I have seen, they don't make a TV that can haul 6 people and tow more than an expedition does. I am really hoping the 2015 model will be able to handle 10 or 11k like the new F150s can do.
Sure they do an E-350 or even an Express 3500 with the right engine will give you more seating, carrying capacity and tow/hitch capacity.
My Van has a 10K tow capacity and you don't subtract any wt. from that that you put in the Van.
