Tork wobble stopper

Installed on the camper. Went on fairly easily. Can't tell how effective it is since the camper is on jacks, but seems fairly sturdy.

They do. At least on ours they do, so DH has to remove them every time we break camp. It only takes a few minutes extra. DH changed the bolts and put some sort of grease on them to keep them from seizing on, as they kept doing. He broke a wrench trying to get them off the first time. I guess they are meant to be permanent, but we have square jacks and a dually with VERY little clearance.

They really do increase the stability. No sway even with the big dog moving around.
  • The instructions show it mounted low, and that would give the most support. When my dually jacks are swung in, the brace is strapped to the back of the jack.

  • Did the instructions recommend mounting it low like that? I'm wondering if there is an optimal brace point for stability.
