Maybe a road trip to Torklift in Sumner, WA is a possibility. with or without the camper.
The folks on here have some ideas of how to secure a camper temporarily to a truck, maybe some type of belly bar??
Or as Wintersun suggested a local shop could modify or even build you a set of tie downs.
