I guess I am missing something. Does the door sticker say "recommended" or "limited to by law"?
I question the statement "LEGALLY nothing increases your load capacity." What law establishes legal your payload?
Based on the stated "legal", I have to agree with 6Fargo. "In fact if you fit the cab from a F250 on the chassis of an F750, the previous capacities of the F750 are now reduced to the door sticker of the F250 cab."
I get so disappointed reading these threads by arm chair experts that best leave this subject alone. I am embarrassed by some of the posts, especially those that state "legally".
I offer this challenge. When making statements as to the purpose of the door stickers, and or the load capacity of a given truck, include your source of information. I suggest you post the law, by including the legal source, such as Vehicle Code. If you cannot do this, please start you expert information with "Once upon a time, the law says ..."
If my post offends someone, it is not my intent. It is so unfair to spread misinformation, therefore I ask for a supporting source of information on this subject.
