Torque converter does not unlock-update #2 8-25

My torque converter seems to be always locked in 2-3-4 and just releases in low gear. Also seems to short shift at part throttle compared to before. Makes driving a bit awkward. Anything easy to ch...

Any work done under the hood lately? Mine short shifts and shifts very firm if I forget to plug the MAF sensor back in after doing work (and it won't even turn on the check engine light until the next drive). BTW my 4R100 normally locks in those gears.

Is this an acute problem, or has the shifting progressively been getting worse?
