^^^^I remember driving a preproduction dodge ram with a 5.9 cummins to the county fair in April '88 to put on display and I think that engine would run out of steam around ~2,000 rpm's so it was tuned more for industrial applications, but was a dog in a pickup, but then again they all were in those times.
