Mud flaps on the TV will almost always solve the problem.
Unless you get a generic, extra long mud flap, the ones made model specific for the trucks are pretty much useless for most of the current HD's. They sit to high.
Can't recall the brand at the moment, but there is a company that makes custom designed mud flaps from flat rubber (not the plastic molded like WeatherTech). The longest set may prevent rocks, otherwise the trucks sit so high now the other mud flaps don't protect anything.
Bstar,
Keep us posted what you decide to do. I have been trying to decide what to buy/make for our '13 to protect the tt and also to cut down on the road slush on our clamshell snowmobile trailer.
The way GM routed the tailpipe makes it tougher to decide what to go with. Could have it changed to a side exit, but don't want to pay the money.
Not sure what hitch shank you have, but using a 2.5" Titan for our tt makes a ball mount set up tougher.
