tow hitch

hi everyone, my question is, will I have to change my single 2.5" receiver on my 3500 ram to use the super truss extension, it looks like there is two receiver that the truss sides in to, please tell me it ain't so

  • 2013 & 2014 RAM 3500 Duallys use the same hitch. I moved mine from a 2013 to a 2014.
  • Sorry, I did not check the OP's profile and was just going off the signature. The D1104's fit the 2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the OEM receiver. This was the first year for this model and the following year the 2500 had additional changes that required a different SuperHitch (D1107).

    OP has a 2013 Ram.

  • Ours has the 2 receivers for the truss...yes, it is so! :B
  • Yes, you will need the "double receiver" hitch to get the benefit of the truss extension.
