Tow rig advice needed...

We're looking into upgrading our tow vehicle...

We currently drive a '93 Suburban 2500 4wd 7.4L...

We tow a 28' Arctic Fox... about 10k lbs...

Our old rig tows it well, a little slow up the mountains, but no complaints...

We are looking at some newer Suburbans, 2000 to 2005...

We are thinking we need the 8.1L 2500 4wd rig... but we keep seeing rigs that have the 6.0L engine...

Does anyone have advice/experience with the 6.0L vs the 8.1L..??..

Fuel mileage is not important between the two, as we currently get about 7mpg average when towing...
