tow truck THIKS its overheating
our 2011 f 150 under load red lines and overheating warning light comes on BUT it is not over heating???? Ideas ???

We the people don’t actually believe a modern pickup truck would “struggle” with cooling while tow hauling within oem recommendations and ratings if everything is in good mechanical order do we?
Temperature measurements need to taken at the rad tank, thermostat housing and plug your code reader into the OBD system and see if the readings agree.
Then you know what to chase.
