The F250 is a more solid and forgiving platform for not much more money up front, at least for the gas version. It does give up some ride quality and fuel economy though.

What is your current payload?
What kind of tires , P or LT?
What kind of hitch and sway control?
How many passengers and how much gear in the bed?
For less than 6000 loaded would expect a Max tow would do well. But would like more details on your current setup and why you don’t like it.
