Tow Vehicle help break down some of the numbers

Just to add some numbers...many 3/4 ton HD trucks rear axle may weigh in the 2900 lb range subtracted from 6100 rawr = around 3100 lb payload in the bed before exceeding the lessor of a axle/tire/wheel or rear spring packs. Generally the OEM wheels are the weak link.
