The Tire and loading sticker was federally mandated for 2006+ model year. THe last year of the 8.1L Burb was 2006. So there aren't many around with those stickers. Payload as listed by those stickers is GVWR (8600 for all 2500 Burbs) minus curb weight including options and all fluids full. People that owned the 00-06 8.1L GM SUVs and weighed them reports payload in the 1800-2000 pound range. Seems like enough for many large enough TTs for a family of 7. Your bigger problem is fining one! They are uncommon. Low mileage and good condition rare. Oh you want specific equipment or options? I looked for a year and bought new. Don't forget the GMC Yukon XL 2500 is the rebaged twin for almost double the extremely low inventory!
Do you already have this TT? If so, find a 1-ton van. You'll be a lot happier traveling in it and 3000+ pounds of payload more than enough to worry about these details. Don't have the TT? Then were are lighter ones that would be a better match for a 3/4 ton Suburban.
