Towing above 65

Why not put this to rest.

I'd be more than happy to do just that. It has run its course but others, including yourself in your last post, keep asking questions or discrediting the accounts of the accident by those that were there on scene in an official capacity to save/extract to save life and limb.

When fire/extraction is called, it's usually a grim scene,not always but usually. This is why few volunteered for the extra training.

You might want to check your ST tires as most are rated for a maximum speed of 65.

Why not put this to rest. What was the exact witness statement indicating speed was a contributing factor. It is not in the report put presumably you were privy to this first hand statement let us know.

Now it sounds like the trucker sped up knowing another vehicle was attempting to pass.

#1. Why didn't you mention speed as the cause of this accident the first time you posted the picture? Not one word about speed the first time around.

Because that thread was not about speed. I was making the point on that thread that a 3/4 or 1 ton does not make up for inexperience.

Turtle.. You like dog do not have a clue as to what happened. You also don't have a clue about small mountain towns in Idaho and how fire/ems and officers work together and rely and trust each other. It is so different than metropolitan departments.

The only thing you are trying to do is discredit and I don't say anything to anybody I can't back up or I wouldn't say it.My post are based on experience not guessing as so many do here. If I haven't done it or have "first hand knowledge" of the topic, I won't post unlike yourself.

He was over weight by 3 pounds. Lucky his whole rig didn't collapse and kill hundreds.

What's not okay is to discard what witness's said/the truck driver and what the driver told the first ones there just because it wasn't in the report. That is calling first responders liars without having been there.. Guessing, not factual in any way.

I was told by first responders (firefighter extraction) what happened and what the driver said, those calling foul for whatever reason prove that wasn't the case. I know the area and that exact location, those crying have never been there or probably have never been to Central Idaho so... Drum roll.... They don't have a fricken clue!

I could really go into detail about the wreck/the carnage the difficulty life flight had landing in that terrain the victim that was transported to the local hospital and comments made to the EMT.. But I won't....

#2. Are you saying there was malfeasance on the part of the LEO's investigating this crash? They said nothing about speed having any part of this crash. Nothing in the report at all. Believe me, if speed had played even the slightest part in this, it would be at least mentioned in the report. It wasn't.


I agree with Dog. You should delete that picture out of your computer before another subject comes up. You might have a weak moment and try to use it again! :B

Far from it. The party(first responder) in question lives in my house. Some of the others directly involved(first responers/emt's) frequent my house and the fact I listened to it blow by blow from my scanner with all the proper frequencies not privy to most, you couldn't be more wrong.

Have you ever been here, doubt it or your comments would be from experiences instead of the guessing you provide based on absolutely nothing.

As I said before, I could say alot more about the accident but it would be wrong for me to post such things on the Internet when they were not intended for public consumption.

You on the other hand are commenting and guessing on something you have know idea other than what you read on the public Internet.
