Couple of short tows have not revealed any problems. Drivetrain will easily handle the load. TV brakes by themselves are challenged, but brake controller made a huge difference. Longer run on our first trip will reveal the ugly truth. I did check GVWR and definitely approaching that limit too. Luckily it's just my wife and I and two drop kick dogs. Any gear will go in the trailer, but even then, we're traveling light with a very limited amount of water.
