I'm sorry, but I just can't agree with those saying you'll be okay. You are towing with unibody car. You said yourself that you can tell from the looks of the hitch why there's a weight limitation. There is a good reason they have a 200lb TW max load. The hitch, the supporting structure is not designed for any more. And to make matters worse, using a WD hitch will put more strain on the hitch. Why are you putting 400-500+ lb of TW on a hitch rated for 200lb max? I just don't get it. Why would you purposely put more than DOUBLE a max load rating and think it will be okay? So I guess you'd be okay towing a TT that weighs 7600 lbs with that car that has a 3800 lb tow rating?
Just plain irresponsible. It's just a matter of time before that trailer breaks away. I hope it doesn't hurt or kill anyone. I just don't get it.
