As far as monitoring, do you have an Android? This ODBII reader with Bluetooth and the Torque Pro app in the Google Play store. It's pretty much the best, most cost effective combination.
I was looking at Torque Pro. However it appears that it doesn't include trans temp on this vehicle line. Have the question out to the mfg.
Anyway, here is the Mopar class III adapter instead of the class II shown before.
