Op, A person either believes the manufacturer's ratings or does not. If you're going to tow a 4000lb TT behind a car rated at 2000lbs(with any hitch), then it is obvious you fall into the "Does Not" group. When things go bad, I bet you won't be on here bragging about it. Don't end up being a news blurb over this. Keep the rubber side down.
