This is correct.
The low center of gravity and long wheelbase make a great platform for a trailer of this size. I towed trailers years ago with a 1987 Ford Bronco II, short 94 inch wheelbase, high center of gravity, very unstable, but it was rated to tow approximately 5000 lb. It was very unstable and felt unsafe, but hey, Ford said it could tow 5000 lb. The new Charger/300 vehicles are light years ahead from a safety and stability standpoint.
