Like you said, many here exceed OEM limits "all the time" - and use aftermarket equipment to do so.

Of course not, but it isn't all "Doom & Gloom" like many here think.
I think we are in agreement. The OP's problem was claiming he had some "special" configuration that Dodge blessed with a higher rating. It may be fine but WILL be over every towing spec that Dodge issued on his vehicle.
